The B6a field consists of a total of 9 different buildings with different designs and outdoor areas. The project comprises a total of 215 apartments in addition to outside activities and an extension of Oslo's harbor in the quayside. The Danish architectural office Vandkunsten draws the area as a great housing project on the waterfront and several of the apartments get the sea right outside the window.
DHW and heating system through independent heat exchangers for each apartment. Heating and cooling supplied through fan coil units. Tap water cooling has been designed with circulation – cold tap water will reach users very quickly. Separate ventilation systems for each apartment have been designed. Heating cooling and ventilation systems for commercial areas have been designed. Snow melting system, rain and sewage systems have been designed. The design has been carried out in great detailing to avoid collisions with other disciplines. The goal was to minimize the needs of changes on site.
“Enso Projects” is responsible for design and installation works of heating, cooling, plumbing, sewage and ventilation system installs. Whole system is connected to district heating.
